Criss Edwards (pictured) has joined Ceva Logistics in a newly created role as senior vice president automotive and industrial inbound logistics, based at the company’s new operations centre in Marseilles, France. He was most recently at XPO Logistics as senior vice president of operations with responsibility for consumer package goods, Asia Pacific and Latin American operations.
Edwards has a lot of experience in inbound logistics and was with Caterpillar Logistics Services (now Neovia Logistics) for 18 years prior to XPO. There he held a variety of positions based between Asia, the US and Germany, ending up as senior vice president of the company.
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Criss’ calibre to our contract logistics global leadership team at the start of this exciting new journey for Ceva and CMA CGM,” said Brett Bissell, Ceva’s COO for Contract Logistics.
CMA CGM settled its public tender for Ceva Logistics in April this year and now holds more than 98% of the company.
