Supply chain logistics provider, Globe Express Services (GES), has appointed Poonam Datta as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Datta will be responsible for developing the company's global commercial strategy and further expanding its presence in the international market.
Datta has a 25-year career in the logistics industry and has worked with a number of leading providers, including Maersk, where she successfully moved through a number of roles become one of the group's youngest managing directors.

GES has a number of customers in the automotive industry, which is one of its chief verticals and highlights its Shenyang division, in the heart of China’s industrial and automotive manufacturing region, as an area of notable strength. The company provides a wide-range of services including ocean and air freight, customs clearance, warehousing, consolidation and distribution, as well as supply chain consulting.
