US rail services provider Road & Rail Services has received two awards – from CSX and American Honda respectively – in recognition of its performance.
The Service Excellence & Partnership award from rail freight transport firm CSX and its subsidiary TDSI, which offers vehicle-handling services through a network of automobile distribution facilities, was given to Road & Rail Services for the “successful start-up and continued excellent performance” at the new TDSI Talladega, Alabama automotive distribution centre, according to a statement.
The company has also recently received American Honda Motor Co’s 2016 Plant Processor of the Year Performance Excellence award in recognition of its “outstanding quality, process and service”.
Dennis Manns, Road & Rail Services’ chief commercial officer, said of the latter: “Earning this prestigious award is a vote of confidence in Road & Rail Services’ people, performance and [the] long-term relationship that exists between American Honda and Road & Rail Services.”
Established in 1987, Road & Rail Services is a provider of rail-related services to railroads, rail shippers, and railcar owners. The company has operations in 18 states.
