German transport and logistics provider Schenker has announced new board members for Land Transport and Contract Logistics at the company. [sam_ad id=6 codes='true']
Ewald Kaiser (left) is replacing Karl Nutzinger as board member for the business unit Land Transport. He will take over the role at the beginning of September this year. The business economist moves from his most recent role as CEO of Swiss transport logistics provider M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding, a specialist in the Eurasian and North African markets.
Previous to that role, between 2001 and 2006 he headed the German subsidiary of Kühne + Nagel, before joining the board of Kühne + Nagel with responsibility for Land Transport.
Meanwhile, Schenker has also said that Dr Hansjörg Rodi (below) is taking over as board member for Contract Logistics at the beginning of October this year. Rodi is CEO of Schenker Deutschland, a role he will continue in until a successor is found.
Rodi has held a number of top management positions at DB Schenker Logistics since 1998. Amongst others, from 2003 until 2008, he was chief financial officer for the region Europe West, located in Paris. As CEO of Schenker Deutschland he is also heading that region.
