Sovereign Business Integration Group, which provides industry IT and software services, has appointed Steve Taylor as business development director.
The company said his appointment would continue to drive Sovereign’s success in its core markets, which include automotive logistics. As well as taking responsibility for IT services and software, Taylor will head the data centre subsidiary company, Sovereign Data Connect.
Taylor brings considerable experience to the role, moving from his role as European sales director at Tata Communications Transformation Services. Previously he has also worked for BT Global Services and Sun Microsystems.
“I am looking forward to my new role at Sovereign and being part of the company’s delivery of client focused IT services to existing and future clients,” said Taylor. “In the last couple of years, Sovereign has seen a continued expansion of services into Europe and America and I believe my global experience can help facilitate the company’s extensive growth plans.”
