Antonio Fondevilla Martinez (pictured), has left Ceva Logistics to take up a new role as chief commercial officer at Spanish logistics provider Grupo Sesé. Dave Dudek has taken over his role as executive vice-president of the global automotive and tyre sector.
Dudek has been with Ceva for ten years, most recently as head of staff and business programmes based in Hong Kong, where he will remain in the new role. Prior to working at Ceva he held senior positions at GM, as well as working at IT consortium Covisint and supply chain management company Vector, both of which GM was involved with.
Fondevilla was with Ceva for more than ten years and had served as executive vice-president of the global automotive sector since 2015. His broad logistics experience also includes roles at DHL Supply Chain, Exel and Nissan.
“Antonio is a globally recognised professional with strong experience in the market,” said Alfonso Sesé, president of the company. “He will be able to enhance our organisation and provide access to new markets, which will allow us to develop and expand our business model and open new industry verticals.”
In another move at Ceva, Renee Toh has been appointed global head of ocean procurement and tradelane management, based in Singapore. She moves from DHL Global Forwarding where she led a team of tradelane specialists and brings 20 years’ experience in the sector to the new role.
