The 2011 Automotive Logistics conference season is set to begin with a bang as more speakers have now been confirmed for the 9th annual Automotive Logistics Europe conference, including top logistics executives from major carmakers such as General Motors, Daimler, BMW, Ford of Europe, Audi and others. The conference, the premier event for automotive supply chain management for the greater European region from Western Europe to Russia and Turkey, will be held March 1st-3rd at the Kameha Grand Hotel in Bonn, Germany.
Among the executives to speak and join discussion panels will be Susanna Webber, vice president of Global Purchasing and Supply chain as well as management board member at Opel/Vauxhall. She will be joined by Opel/Vauxhall’s director of logistics Jeffrey Morrison. Other confirmed speakers include Dr Holger Scherr, director of worldwide transport for Daimler; Dr E Hermann Krog, executive director of logistics for Audi; and Matthias Schulz, director of material, planning and logistics for Ford of Europe, who is also the lead interview for the January-March 2011 issue of

Automotive Logistics Europe is the first in a series of seven global conferences around the world in 2011. April will see the 8th Automotive Logistics China conference in Shanghai; May will be the 2nd FVL North America conference in Newport Beach, California; while June will see Moscow host the 6th Automotive Logistics Russia Conference. In mid-September there is the 3rd Automotive Logistics South America Summit in Sao Paulo, Brazil, while at the end of September is the 12th Automotive Logistics Global Conference in Detroit. Finally, the 5th Automotive Logistics India conference will be held in December.
