Supply chain services provider APL Logistics has hired Rinaldy Sudyatmiko as Senior Director of Automotive Business Development in Singapore. Sudyatmiko is part of the APL Logistics Automotive unit, which provides supply chain management support to carmakers and parts manufacturers around the world.
Sudyatmiko has more than 15 years of experience in automotive logistics and prior to joining APL Logistics, was general manager for logistics quality at Renault – Nissan Alliance Logistics Europe, based in France.
APL Logistics provides land transport and other supply chain services to the auto industry in Asia and North America. It also participates in two auto-related joint ventures, CMAL in China, and VASCOR in the U.S.
Andrew West, who was previously retail network development director at Vauxhall in the UK has been appointed aftersales director and will now supervise all Vauxhall UK & Ireland aftersales, sales and marketing, as well as warehouse operations.
West has been with Vauxhall for 13 years and has hold positions in network and franchising field operations for the last decade. Before he joined Vauxhall, he held multiple senior roles at Peugeot and Nissan.
Replacing West as retail network director is Andy Robson, who previously served as the company’s national retail sales manager. Robson has been with the carmaker for 26 years and has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing.
Ceva Logistics has appointed Marcello Ferrari as managing director for Greece.
Ferrari has more than 10 years of experience within Ceva, having previously worked in countries such as Brazil, Italy and Poland. He most recently served as operations director in Brazil and will now be responsible for growing the company’s operational capability in Greece and bringing new customers on board.
In his new position Marcello will report to Aslan Uzun, managing director of Ceva in Turkey, Balkans, Egypt and Central Asia.
Meanwhile, the company has also appointed Juan José Yabar as contract logistics operations director for Spain and Portugal.
He has seven years of experience within the logistics sector and previously worked for a food supply company, leading operations both in Spain and internationally, before joining Ceva in 2008 as consumer and industrial area manager in Iberia.
