This year's Finished Vehicle North America conference, which is taking place now, is streaming live debate from its main sessions, offering those in direct attendance, and those with an interest abroad, the ability to participate online.
This year the luxurious and spacious Hilton Orange County in Costa Mesa is playing host to a capacity gathering of carmakers and tier suppliers, 3PLs, multimodal transport providers, IT companies, and ports and terminal operators.
The new FVL North America Live service will extend the conference to reach a global audience and it is brought to you free of charge.
The conference sessions began on Tuesday 13 May and video streaming of the principal presentations and discussions are at the following times:
09:00-17:30 (PST) Tuesday 13 May
09:00-16:30 (PST) Wednesday 14 May
So if you cannot be in sunny Costa Mesa this year, you will be able to view them live, as well as participate online with comments and questions via the social stream.
Those attending will also be able to send messages to fellow delegates before, during and after the conference.
Everyone will also be able to take part in the polls held during the conference. And of course the videos will be available online after the event.
Speakers this year include: Bryan Burkhardt, director, North American and Intercontinental Vehicle Logistics, GM; Dennis Manns, vice-president of Logistics at American Honda; Rory Hepner, general manager, Vehicle Distribution and Logistics, Mercedes-Benz USA; Jan Bures, executive vice-president of Group Aftersales and Services at VW Group of America; and Steve Tripp, head of Worldwide Vehicle Transporation at Chrysler; amongst many more.
